A Practice account (also known as a forex demo account) is an account that lets you practise trading without risking any of your own money, as you'll be using virtual funds.
It offers exactly the same tools and features as a live trading account, and you'll be trading under real-market conditions.
Most of what you can do on a live trading account, you’ll be able to action on a Practice account.
You can open and close positions, adjust order types and choose from hundreds of different financial instruments. The trading platform works the same way too - the only difference is that the funds you're trading with are not real.
The features, conditions and tools are the same on a Practice account and live account. The only difference is that you're trading with virtual money, so there's no risk involved for you.
Stock CFDs are not available on the Practice account.
Once you've moved to live trading, there are hundreds of different stocks for you to access, and you'll still benefit from experimenting with other instruments before.
